Accessibility Policy

The Trout Farm at Rock Springs strives to provide all visitors and guests with a comfortable and inclusive experience. While it is important to note that our fishing ponds, creeks and cabins are not currently fully wheelchair accessible, we are committed to ongoing efforts to improve accessibility for all.

Lodging Accessibility

We warmly welcomes all guests, however, due to the topography of the land and the historic structures of the cabins, our property and cabins do not offer ADA accessibility. If you have questions regarding our accommodations and if they will fit your needs, please call contact Four Fillies at (954) 702-1647 so we can ensure you have a comfortable arrival and enjoyable stay.

In addition, we work to ensure every guest who wishes to visit can do so regardless of their physical abilities. Among the ways we comply with ADA:

  1. We ensure that individuals with disabilities can make reservations during the same hours and in the same manner as individuals without disabilities.
  2. We have identified and described the features in our lodge and cabins in detail to allow individuals with disabilities to determine whether our lodge meets their needs.
  3. Guests with legitimate service animals as defined in the ADA will be provided access to all areas of the estate afforded to those without service animals.

Due to the historic significance of our property and the topography of our land, our cabins and land are not completely wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, it is not readily achievable to remove physical barriers for accessibility because doing so could threaten the historic significance of the property. These barriers include:

  • Stairs leading to cabin entrance and second story bedroom
  • Narrow doorways that are not wheelchair accessible
  • A large gravel road that runs through our property that would make it difficult for a wheel chair to mobilize
  • Steep graded roads

Website Accessibility

We are dedicated to ensuring that our website is accessible and usable for all individuals, including those with disabilities. To achieve this goal, we are actively working to implement the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA) or any other standards as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Our website will undergo regular testing using assistive technology to assess and improve its accessibility.

While we strive for accessibility excellence, our efforts are ongoing. If you encounter any difficulties or have any questions or concerns regarding the accessibility of our website, we encourage you to reach out to us. You can contact us via email or call us at the email and phone number below:
